Any chance of MUHC, Essendon and Powerhouse getting replaced? Essendon will not be done before this Season. Looking at prior to 2018 season commencing. Powerhouse not being relaid... council makes too much money from Tennis. Look for Powerhouse to find a new home at Todd Road.

Ph has approval from Council, Parks Vic,Wesley you assume, govt and god only knows who else and will be replaced after season is rumour from the Park. Assume GP prevents anything earlier Is MCC going to use new facility at Beaumaris? No parking now and value of that land has to create pressure for another inner city club

Looks like Mentone pitch has just been pulled up to be replaced. How quickly does it take to replace a pitch?

Looks like Mentone pitch has just been pulled up to be replaced. How quickly does it take to replace a pitch? If they're not replacing shock pads can be done in a matter of weeks, pretty sure out at Greensborough they had a full pad replacement as well and it was done in less than 6 weeks. Saying that the pitch facilities that club has access to now are second to none. Clearly have forward thinking management, jealous of the grounds they have access too.

Looks like Mentone pitch has just been pulled up to be replaced. How quickly does it take to replace a pitch? 4-6 weeks, looking like a mid march finish. Yarra needs to be done after that, already had HV swap their first round match from home to Mentone.

I see the Brumbies have secured a builder for its $3.3million dollar pavilion development. With the clubs share being an outragious $20k to fill it with a tv and a couple of fridges, I'm sure all those pennies they have saved over the many years by not providing any amenities to visiting teams, should cover it!

What a bitter, short sighted, ignorant perspective. Jealous much? Read the communication, this project has been in the works for almost 15 years. It supplies multiple sports, not just the Hockey. KBH put a STACK of money into their new pitch AND they managed the project themselves.
I have no love for KBH, but pull your head in. And invest in a spellcheck.

KBH put a STACK of money into their new pitch AND they managed the project themselves. I have no love for KBH, but pull your head in. And invest in a spellcheck. Jealous, yes, and refraining from using capital letters and spellcheck! What club wouldn't be happy with this level of support! Yes, who hasn't dug deep to upgrade grounds over the years. Just saying, that in the past, the level of facilities was not becoming of a club within such a long and proud history. Maybe their hands were tied? No disrespect to Box Hill, but it is a shame for Kew that this couldn't have fallen across the line earlier, before the Whitehorse bolted on a number of talented players. Good luck to Brumbies, I look forward to my future visits.
